And, I lied. Sorry. I was just gonna blog-hop, but I couldn't resist. At least I'm not at rei's?
I've got this Aa! Megami-sama manga at home, about Skuld and this boy, Sentaro. They had a conversation, and it was worthy of note:
Sentaro: What are you talking about? Bikes are fun BECAUSE they can crash.
Skuld: You know...?
Skuld: I don't get that at all.
And I think that explains the whole lot of it. In the story, Skuld is dared by Urd to learn to ride a bike in a day. She thinks she's got it made because Belldandy's out to help, but then, Bell didn't help her-- because she was trying to show her how to be self-reliant.
Sentaro's this kid who likes to ride bikes. He looks like Sendoh. I'm serious.
Anyway, I completely understand Skuld's confusion. What was the point of trying to get something unbalanced under control? It hurts when you crash.
Sentaro said that the point was exactly that.
I still don't get it. Goddesses don't need to ride bikes anyway.
will you catch me when I fall? :: |
