There's a show somewhere, according to my cousin, that's being hosted by Ted Failon and features nothing but good news. Which is something to the effect of disconcerting, in this country (the place is as negative as a... a... never mind, forget this.), because the drama her is eating everybody alive. What's the latest-- some 10% tax rebate on actors and other professionals....
And they wonder why the youth is so stir-crazy.
Anyway, the good news. For once, I should be writing good news-- I suppose I've got a whole lot more than what other people can account for.
The Good News
I am getting paid! Yes, people, an actual fuxing paycheck for my larger than life service to the people of the Casa. It's not much but it's something I'm summarily proud of. Never mind that my hands are callousing, my hair's getting dry, and everything's a mess. I fuxing got paid. It's all good. (Come June I'm going to go through the ultimate makeover of my life since Taft. Hell, yeah.)
I finally have enough money to get myself to Taft and back, ergo getting to see Maite and the others and actually give 'em a proper goodbye. Sigh. People I miss.
I shall be feared! Because I've been writing originals. Yes, originals. ^-^
And you know what else? I'm healthy, happy (um, not exactly crying my heart out should be a better description but in this case I'd rather leave the illusion of perkiness I'm usually famous for), and alive.
Most people don't even have that luxury.
